Resumo

As exigências legais e de mercado vêm obrigando as indústrias a buscar ganhos de desempenho e redução no impacto ambiental. As lamas e pós gerados em aciaria LD apresentam restrições severas quanto a sua reciclagem no processo siderúrgico, em função de elementos contaminantes, principalmente metais pesados, como o zinco. A CSN através de sua planta de pelotização de resíduos desenvolveu uma pelota metalizada contendo lama fina de aciaria. Durante o processamento da pelota ocorre redução significativa do teor de zinco, permitindo sua utilização como carga metálica. Este trabalho descreve o desenvolvimento do processo de fabricação da pelota contendo lama fina de aciaria, desde o percentual admissível na composição da mistura, passando pelo pelotamento e finalmente pela queima. As pelotas foram caracterizadas antes e depois de metalizadas para comprovação da redução do teor do zinco incorporado na pelota pela lama fina de aciaria. Os resultados positivos do teste demonstram a viabilidade de implantação do processo industrialmente a fim de se reciclar a lama fina de aciaria.

 

The legal demands and of market they come forcing the industries to look for won of acting and reduction in the environmental impact. The fine sludge generated at BOF converter has severe restrictions with relationship its recycling at metallurgical process, in function of contaminates elements, mainly heavy metals, as the zinc. CSN through its plant of pelletizing of residues developed a metallical pellet contents fine sludge BOF converter. During the processing of the pellets it happens significant reduction of the text of zinc, allowing its use as metallic load. This work describes the development of the process of production of the pellets contends fine sludge BOF converter, from the percentile acceptable in the composition of the mixture, going by the pelletizing and finally for the it burns. The pellets were characterized before and after burned for confirmation of the reduction of the text of the zinc incorporated in the pellet by the fine sludge BOF converter. The positive results of the test demonstrate the viability of implantação of the process industrialmente in order to recycle the fine sludge BOF converter.
