Resumo

A proposta deste artigo é estudar a separação dos metais de uma amostra composta de uma mistura de vários tipos de baterias usadas que foram descartadas utilizando uma rota hidrometalúrgica com precipitação seletiva. O tratamento para a separação dos metais consiste nas seguintes etapas: desmantelamento manual, moagem, homogeneização, separação magnética, lixiviação ácida e precipitação seletiva com NaOH. Na separação magnética 88,5% de ferro foi extraído do material estudado. Na precipitação seletiva da porção não-magnética nos melhores pHs foram recuperados no precipitado cerca de 30% de chumbo, cromo e cério, 20% de cádmio, 50% de titânio, lantânio e cobre, 40% de níquel, 33% de manganês e mais de 70% do ferro

 

The purpose of this paper is to study the separation of metals from a sample composed of a mixture of the main types of batteries that were discarded after use using a hydrometallurgical route with selective precipitation. Segregation of the main metals has been investigated using a treatment route consisting of the following steps: manual dismantling, grinding, homogenization, magnetic separation, acid leaching and selective precipitation with NaOH. In magnetic separation 88.5% of iron it was extracted of the studied material. In the selective precipitation of the not- magnetic portion in best pHs they had been recouped in the precipitated about 30% of lead, chromium and cerium, 20% of cadmium, 50% of titanium, lanthanum and copper, 40% of nickel, 33% of manganese and more than 70% of the iron.
