Resumo

A presente contribuição técnica apresenta os resultados da identificação da causa da perda de rendimento dos turbo-geradores da Central Termoelétrica no2 da Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional e as alternativas para a solução do problema. A Central Termoelétrica n.o 2 possui dois turbo-geradores com capacidade nominal de 117,5 MW/cada. As turbinas de acionamento dos geradores de 60 Hz, iniciaram à partir de outubro/2006 um processo de perda de rendimento, fazendo com que a meta de geração de energia não fosse atingida, por conta de uma redução da ordem de 70 MW. As turbinas apresentavam alterações nos parâmetros operacionais relativos à temperatura e pressão que limitavam a retomada do patamar de geração. Hipóteses foram analisadas e a causa identificada e solucionada por intermédio de ações apropriadas e controladas no sentido de resguardar a integridade das máquinas. Como resultado, após a recuperação do rendimento das turbinas, voltamos ao patamar normal de geração de energia, evitando desta forma a necessidade de compra de energia externa à um custo maior.

 

To present technical contribution it presents the results of the identification of the cause of the loss of income of the turbine-generators of the Thermoelectrical no2 of the National Metallurgical Company and the alternatives for the solution of the problem. The Thermoelectrical n.o 2 have two turbines-generators with nominal capacity of 117,5 MW/each. The turbines of activate of the generators of 60 Hz, began her/it starting from outubro/2006 a process of income loss, doing with that the goal of generation of energy was not reached, due to a reduction of the order of 70 MW. The turbines presented alterations in the relative operational parameters to the temperature and pressure that limited the retaking of the generation landing. Hypotheses were analyzed and the identified cause and solved through appropriate actions and controlled in the sense of protecting the integrity of the machines. As result, after the recovery of the income of the turbines, we returned to the normal landing of generation of energy, avoiding this way the need of purchase of external energy at the one larger cost.
