Resumo

Um dos grandes desafios na área Utilidades e Energia da Indústria Siderúrgica é a manutenção da qualidade da água dos sistemas de Lavagem de Gases da Aciaria e Altos Fornos, em função das diversas impurezas existentes neste processo o que pode gerar altos custos de manutenção ao longo do ano. Este trabalho visa mostrar as vantagens e benefícios de se utilizar um Tratamento Químico adequado na água dos sistemas de Lavagem de Gases da Aciaria e Alto Fornos com foco redução de horas paradas de manutenção preventiva e corretiva, aumento da performance dos equipamentos, otimização de mão-de-obra dentre outros.

 

One of the major challenges in the area of Utilities and Energy of the Steel Industry is the maintenance of the water quality of the Gas Scrubbing systems of the Steel Plant and Blast Furnaces due to the various impurities in this process which can generate high maintenance costs throughout the year. This work aims to show the advantages and benefits of using a Chemical Treatment in the water of the Steel Plant and Blast Furnace Gas Scrubbing systems with a focus on reducing the number of hours of preventive and corrective maintenance, increasing equipment performance, among others.
