Resumo

Esse artigo tem como objetivo a aplicação da metodologia Lean Seis Sigma no estudo da redução dos defeitos de borda causados pelo excesso de revestimento na chapa em uma linha de galvanização continua. Para tal estudo serão utilizadas as ferramentas do DMAIC Definir, Medir, Analisar, Aperfeiçoar e Controlar na busca da redução da variabilidade do processo, com o embasamento na fundamentação teórica a respeito do método aplicado. Esse estudo foi realizado na seção do pote de revestimento e teve como objetivo a redução de 50% dos defeitos gerados pelos equipamentos e métodos de controle.

 

This paper aims to apply the Lean Six Sigma methodology in the study of the reduction of edge defects caused by the excess coating on the sheet in a continuous galvanizing line, in which the tools of the DMAIC Define, Measure, Analyze, To control in the search of the reduction of the variability of the process, with the foundation in the theoretical foundation regarding the applied method. This study was carried out in the section of the coating pot and had as objective the reduction of 50% of the defects generated by the equipment and control methods.
