Resumo

O processo de IPCC (In Pit Crushing and Conveying) tem como objetivo eliminar o uso de caminhões fora de estrada para o transporte de minério de ferro e estéril entre as áreas de extração (Lavra), e o início do processo de beneficiamento (Britagem) ou disposição de estéril. O sistema consiste em movimentar o britador e correias transportadoras à medida que a lavra avança pela mina, permitindo que as escavadeiras descarreguem o minério diretamente no britador. O uso da tecnologia torna o processo mais eficiente, produtivo e seguro, reduz custos e contribui para o meio ambiente. Com a eliminação dos caminhões e operadores, não há consumo de pneus, combustível, e consequentemente, emissão de CO2 na atmosfera.

 

The process of IPCC has as target to eliminate the use of out of Haul Trucks to transport iron ore an waste between the extraction mining area to the benefication plant and waste piles. This system has the excavator, the primary crusher and conveyor belts in the mine face. The excavator unload the ore and the waste directly on the crusher. The use of this technology increases the process efficiency, productivity and safety reducing costs and contributes to environment. Eliminating the trucks reduces the tire consumption, fuel and consequently CO2 emission in the atmosphere.
