Resumo

A Educação a Distância (EAD) é uma das soluções complementares que podemos adotar para atender as necessidades de treinamento aos nossos colaboradores, principalmente porque este sistema atinge rapidamente uma considerável população, agilizando o processo de gestão do conhecimento. Levando em conta vantagens e desvantagens deste sistema, alguns critérios serão enumerados e foram observados quando da opção por este sistema: A dificuldade e tempo, como fator impeditivo a que pessoas possam submeter-se a um treinamento formal; A heterogenidade das turmas; A carência de instrutores; A falta de um ambiente apropriado para o treinamento (sala, equipamentos, etc.); Redução de custos. A ACIARIA DA COSIPA ao optar pela modalidade de auto-estudo, levou em consideração, principalmente, o grande contingente de pessoas que teriam de treinar em curto espaço de tempo nas informações básicas dos diversos módulos referentes ao SGI – Sistema de Gestão Integrada da Cosipa, a um baixo custo de forma que não interferisse no processo produtivo. Alguns colaboradores da Aciaria da COSIPA que participaram deste programa-piloto apresentaram extrema facilidade no manuseio do material obtendo bons resultados. Este método de forma alguma substituir o ensino tradicional, mas apenas complementá-lo, e como em qualquer outro método, a busca pelo conhecimento depende única e exclusivamente do interesse do indivíduo em ser treinado.

 

The Education in the Distance (EAD) is one of the complementary solutions that we can adopt to take care of to the necessities of training to our collaborators, mainly because this system reaches a considerable population quickly, speeding the process of management of the knowledge. Taking in account advantages and disadvantages of this system, some criteria will be enumerated and had been observed when of the option for this system: The difficulty and time, as impeditive factor the one that people can submit it a formal training; The heterogeneities of the groups; The lack of instructors; The lack of an appropriate environment for the training (room, equipment, etc.); Reduction of costs. The Steel Making Plant of the COSIPA when opting to the auto-study modality, led in consideration, mainly, the great contingent of people who would have to train in short space of time in the basic information of the diverse referring modules to the SGI - System of Integrated Management of the Cosipa, to a low cost of form that did not intervene with the productive process. Some collaborators of the Steel Making Plant of the COSIPA that had participated of this program-pilot had presented extreme easiness in the manuscript of the material getting good results. This method of form some to substitute traditional education, but to only complement it, and as in any another method, the search for the knowledge exclusively depends only e on the interest of the individual in being trained.
