Resumo

"Na planta Industrial da Aperam o processo de clarificação e potabilização era realizado através do uso de Cloro Gás. A literatura e os acidentes ocorridos em diversas partes do Brasil e do mundo reforçam que este gás possui um grau elevado de perigo e que seu manuseio traz riscos para quem o manipula. Este trabalho visa a preocupação da área de Utilidades da Aperam - Timóteo, no constante processo de melhoria contínua, buscar uma forma de substituir o Cloro Gasoso por outro produto que pudesse manter a segurança no tratamento da água utilizada na usina. "

 

"In the industrial plant of Aperam the process of clarification and purification was carried out through he use of Chlorine Gas. The literature and the accidents occurred in several parts of Brazil and the world reinforce that this gas has a high degree of danger and that its handling carries risks for who manipulates it. This work aims at the concern of the Utilities area of Aperam - Timóteo, in the constant process of continuous improvement, to find a way to substitute the Chlorine Gas for another product that could maintain the safety in the treatment of the water used in the plant "
