Resumo

O TCO (Custo Total de Propriedade) é uma técnica de análise de custo focada principalmente para a compra de produtos e serviços, propondo uma visão geral de todos os custos envolvidos com essas aquisições. O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar o avanço na utilização desta metodologia de análise nos últimos anos, a sua importância dentro das organizações e os resultados alcançados. Além disto, será apresentado a forma como a Arcelormittal está implantando a metodologia em suas unidades. Um dos resultados da aplicação desta metodologia é um estudo realizado pela Arcelormittal Tubarão para a busca de modais alternativos para o transporte de um tipo de matéria-prima para fabricação da cal, essencial na produção do aço que é o calcário, objetivando a redução da degradação do material provocada pelos impactos mecânicos que ocorrem durante o transporte do fornecedor até a calcinação da Arcelormittal Tubarao.

 

TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) is a cost analysis technique focused mainly in the purchase of goods and services, offering a general view of all the costs involved in that acquisition. The main objective of this paper is to present the progress in the application of this analysis methodology along the last years, its importance inside the organizations and the results achieved. Moreover, will be presented the way ArcelorMittal Group is taking to introduce the methodology in its Units, in particular in ArcelorMittal Tubarão Plant. One of the results of the methodology application is a study carried out by the ArcelorMittal Tubarão for the research of alternative transportation modal of a type from raw material for manufacture from the lime, essential in the production from the steel, which is the limestone, aiming at the reduction of the degradation of the material provoked by the mechanical impacts that take place during the transport of the supplier up to the Lime plant of the ArcelorMittal Tubarão.
