Resumo

Este trabalho tem por objetivo o desenvolvimento de uma metodologia para avaliar a eficiência dos principais terminais de produtos siderúrgicos do Brasil, utilizando o método quantitativo de Análise por Envoltória de Dados (Data Envelopment Analysis - DEA), cujo resultado implica em uma classificação dos terminais de maior eficiência operacional, isto é, os terminais mais atrativos operacionalmente, considerando-se a operação do navio, da carga e do retroporto. Para que se possa classifica-los foram utilizados dados reais dos terminais de produto siderúrgicos, proposto neste estudo, sendo que eficiências são determinadas por meio de restrições aos pesos das variáveis. Portanto, esta ferramenta será capaz de demonstrar àquele que tem a responsabilidade de decidir a eficiência das unidades produtivas, denominadas de Unidades Tomadora de Decisão – (Decision Making Units – DMU).

 

This work has for objective the development of a methodology to evaluate the efficiency of the main terminals of metallurgical products of Brazil and International, using the method quantitative Data Envelopment Analysis - DEA, where they will be ranking the terminals of larger operational efficiency, that is, the terminals most attractive in our operation, being taken in consideration the operation of the ship and of the load and the landside. So that it cannot him rank given real data of the terminals of containers were used, proposed in this study. The efficiencies are certain by means of restrictions to the weights of the variables. Therefore, this tool give to the base for the decision maker to verify the efficiency of the productive units, denominated of Decision Making Units - DMU.
