Resumo

Aplicações que visam a integração entre instrumentos de medição e sistemas de gerenciamento de ativos trazem benefícios para a operação e manutenção das plantas industriais. Soluções que incluem a substituição da instrumentação para comunicação via rede, ou, então, a inclusão de multiplexadores Hart, trazem elevados gastos e transtornos na produção durante a implantação, reduzindo a sua viabilidade. A maioria dos instrumentos instalados na indústria é provida de comunicação Hart. Desta forma, uma solução na qual as informações Hart dos instrumentos estejam disponíveis no barramento do CLP (controlador lógico programável) através de um cartão de I/O, torna desnecessárias as modificações da infra-estrutura de cabeamento e de equipamentos da planta, que tanto oneram a implantação de sistemas de gerenciamento de ativos. A reduzida quantidade de alterações que este tipo de solução gera no sistema de automação, minimiza os esforços de montagem e, por consequência, os tempos e gastos com a parada da planta, tornando mais viável a utilização de sistemas para o gerenciamento de ativos.

 

Applications that aim at the integration between measurement instruments and asset management systems bring benefits for the operation and maintenance of the industrial plants. Solutions that include the substitution of the instrumentation with network communication capacity, or, then, the inclusion of Hart multiplexers, brings high expenses and disturbs in the production during the implementation, reducing its viability. The majority of the instruments installed in the industry is provided with Hart communication capacity. So, a solution in which the Hart information of the instruments are available in the bus of the PLC (programmable logical controller) through a I/O card makes unnecessary the modifications of the infrastructure of cables and equipment of the plant, that makes so expensive the implantation of systems of asset management. The reduced amount of alterations that this type of solution brings to the instalation, minimizes the efforts of assembly and the times and expenses with the plant shut down, becoming more viable the use of systems for the asset management.
