Resumo

Este trabalho apresenta as melhorias alcançadas na gestão de manutenção preditiva da Companhia Siderúrgica de Tubarão (CST–Arcelor Brasil) através da modernização do seu Sistema Informatizado de Manutenção (SISMANA), incluindo as funcionalidades de software assistidas por computadores móveis. Desde a sua implantação os técnicos de predição vêem utilizando assistentes digitais (PDA) como apoio durante as inspeções preditivas e sensitivas dos ativos da planta industrial da CST, substituído com grandes vantagens os antigos blocos de papel. Os resultados deste projeto vêm proporcionando a realização de inspeções industriais mais confiáveis e com maior produtividade.

 

This work presents the improvements reached in the management of condition based maintenance of the CST-Arcelor Brazil through the modernization of SISMANA maintenance system, including the functionalities of software attended by mobile devices. Since its deployment the inspectors have been using personal digital assistants (PDA’s) as support during the condition based and sensitive inspections of the equipment of the CST’s industrial plant, replaced with great advantages the old blocks of paper. The results of this project have been enabled the execution of more trustworthy and productive industrial inspections.
