Resumo

A segunda parte desta Contribuição técnica mostra a utilização da biomassa de cana-de-açúcar para geração de eletricidade. Partiu-se de uma resenha bibliográfica sobre o assunto, visando inicialmente estudar a possibilidade de uso do material para fabricação de carvão. Para isto, o material foi prensado e produziu-se um briquete, “small pellet” (SP). Este material foi levado ao forno de micro-ondas para se tentar a produção de carvão vegetal. Diante dos resultados pífios obtidos, já esperados, pois a atmosfera adotada foi oxidante, e considerando a literatura sobre o assunto, passou-se a segunda etapa que seria o estudo da possibilidade de uso deste material para geração de energia. Este material foi submetido ao forno de micro-ondas, demonstrando a possibilidade de sua queima, bem como análises químicas foram realizadas e daí pode-se demonstrar a possibilidade de uso do SP, em condições bastante favoráveis para geração de energia.

 

The second part of this Contribution technique shows the use of the biomass of sugar cane-of-sugar for electricity generation. The study of the possibility of the material for manufacture of charcoal was tried so a bibliographical review was made as well. The material was pressed and produced a briquette, “small pellet” (SP). This material was put into the microwaves furnace to try the production of charcoal. Ahead of the gotten irrelevant results, already waited, therefore the adopted atmosphere was oxidant, and considering literature on the subject, second stage was transferred it that would be the study of the possibility of use of this material for energy generation. This material was submitted again into the microwaves furnace, having demonstrated the possibility of its burning, as well as chemical analyses had been carried out and from there the possibility of use of the SP can be demonstrated, in sufficiently favorable conditions for energy generation.
