AVALIAÇÃO DO EFEITO DO REVESTIMENTO EM AÇO SÍLICIO (GNO) TOTALMENTE PROCESSADO SOBRE O DESEMPENHO DOS MOTORES: EVALUATION OF THE EFFECT OF THE COATING IN STEEL SILICON (GNO) TOTALLY PROCESSED ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE ENGINES

As empresas produzem os aços elétricos com revestimento e sem revestimento. A principal função do revestimento é promover o isolamento elétrico da chapa, de maneira que correntes parasitas não circulem de uma chapa para outra no núcleo dos aparelhos elétricos. Assim as perdas de energia seriam minimizadas melhorando o rendimento dos aparelhos. Contudo, os trabalhos que mostram os efeitos dos revestimentos na eficiência das máquinas elétricas são escassos e a questão de qual seria esta melhoria não está claramente respondida. Portanto foi feito um estudo para tentar medir os efeitos dos revestimentos nas perdas, uma vez que a preocupação em conservação de energia, leis governamentais e de comércio têm exigido um maior conhecimento sobre o assunto. Para isto utilizaram-se testes magnéticos em amostras cortadas em anéis nos aparelhos do Centro de Pesquisa. Este artigo mostra os resultados deste estudo.

The companies produce electric steel with coating and without coating. The main function of the coating is to promote the isolation electric of the plate, thus current parasites do not circulate of a plate for another one in the nucleus of the electric devices. Thus the losses of energy would be minimized improving the income of the devices. However, the works that show the effect of coating in the efficiency of the electric machines are scarce and the question of which would be this improvement clearly is not answered. Therefore a study was made to try to measure the effect of coatings in the losses, a time that the concern in energy conservation, governmental laws and of commerce has demanded a bigger knowledge on the subject. For this used magnetic tests in samples cut in rings in the devices of the Center of Research. This article shows the results of this study.
