Resumo

As perdas magnéticas nos aços elétricos são usualmente divididas em três parcelas: perda histerética, perda clássica e perda anômala. É aceito que a microestrutura tem efeitos na perda anômala. Foram estudados os efeitos do tamanho de grão e da textura. Foram usadas amostras de aço GNO com diferentes tamanhos de grão e amostras de aço GO laminadas nas direções transversal e longitudinal. Enquanto o efeito da textura foi claramente observado, mostrando que a perda anômala é mais simétrica e menos ruidosa na direção longitudinal, o efeito do tamanho de grão não pode ser bem definido; observa-se que existe um padrão no formato das curvas, mas não há conclusões sobre os efeitos desse fator na perda anômala.

 

In electrical steels, magnetic losses are usually divides into three portions: hysteresis loss, eddy current loss and anomalous loss. It is accepted that microstructure has effects upon the anomalous loss. The effects of grain size and texture were studied. We used samples of GNO steel with different grain sizes and samples of GO steel rolled on transverse and longitudinal directions. While the effect of texture could be clearly observed, showing that the anomalous loss is more symmetric and less noisy in the longitudinal direction, the effect of grain size could not be well defined; it can be seen that there is a pattern on the shape of the curves, but deeper conclusions about the effect of grain size on the anomalous loss could not be made.
