Resumo

A siderurgia moderna como conhecemos hoje, nasceu nos anos 60. Enormes usinas integradas de 6 a 10 milhões de toneladas de aço x ano foram criadas e os dispositivos de controle e automação aprimoram-se assim como os equipamentos. A Sinterização é uma unidade destinada a transformar o minério de ferro fino, através de um processo de aglomeração a quente com outros materiais também finos, envolvendo calcário, coque, rejeitos internos e externos de processo, resultando em um produto denominado sinter. O sinter é uma fonte metálica para carregamento nos Altos Fornos e que possui características físico-químicas definidas e apropriadas a operação desse equipamento. Após a aglomeração este material ainda incandescente é passado por um processo de quebra formando partículas menores. O equipamento utilizado para este fim, o Britador de Sinter juntamente com as Barras Quebradoras que trabalham sempre em grupos de dezessete peças onde sofrem desgastes devido ao atrito na quebra do sinter que acabam ocasionando baixa eficiência no processo, precisando reloca-las de posição e até substituí-las.O nosso trabalho focou o aumento da vida útil dessas barras quebradoras, modificando sua geometria e substituindo o processo de fundição pelo de soldagem..

 

The modern iron industrial as you know today was in sinties. Huge plant integrated which produce from sin to ten million ton of iron a year were created and the control the equipment and automation improve as the equipment. The sintering which is the unit suppo sed to turn iron o re, though a hot process of a glomeration whit of her fine materials, by involving calcareous, coque inner and outer waste of process into sinter. Sinter is a metallic sourc e for loading in the high furnace that has defined chemical physic feature and apropiated to this equipment operation. After the aglomaration of this material still incandescent get throught a process which turn it into a smaller pieces. The breaker of sinter along with the bar, wich turn the sinter into pieces, that always work in group of seventenn pieces and they wear out due to friction in the break of sinter which result in the low efficiency in the process. In this case it is necessary to move their positions and even replace then. Our work focused in the encreasing of the durability of the bars, which turn the sinter into pieces, modifying their shap and replea cing the process of foundry by weltering.
