Resumo

Este trabalho estuda formas de otimizar a coleta dos resíduos industriais gerados pelas áreas da usina e minas situadas no complexo de minério de ferro de Carajás – PA. Para chegar ao objetivo proposto são aplicadas em conjunto tecnologias dos Sistemas de Informações Geográficas (SIG) e estudos estatísticos. O Sistema de Informações Geográficas permite realizar, através da utilização do software arcview 9.0 e de imagens de satélites Ikonos, coleta de dados de campo, armazenamento dos dados relacionados à gestão da coleta, análise e integração geográfica da vetorização das rotas. Através dos estudos estatísticos planilhas serão alimentadas e analisadas quantitativamente e qualitativamente resultando assim numa melhor compreensão e tratamento das variáveis que influenciam a eficácia da coleta e o transporte dos resíduos gerados nas áreas. Com a utilização das ferramentas dos Sistemas de Informação Geográfica e as análises estatísticas é possível alcançar os melhores resultados e auxiliar as futuras tomadas de decisões relacionadas à gestão de coletas e praças de resíduos do Complexo Minerador de Carajás.

 

This paper studies ways to optimize the collection of industrial waste generated by the plant and mining areas located in the complex of iron ore from Carajás - PA. To reach the proposed goal technologies of Geographic Information Systems and statistical studies are applied in conjunction. The Geographic Information System allows, through the use of Arc View 9.0 software and Ikonos satellite images, field data collection, data storage related to management of waste collection, analysis and integration of geographic vectorization routes. Through statistical studies worksheets are powered and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, thus resulting in a better understanding and treatment of the variables that influence the effectiveness of collection and transport of waste generated in the area. Using the tools of Geographic Information Systems and statistical analyzes it is possible to achieve the best results and help future decision-making related to management of waste collections and deposits of Carajás Complex Mining.
