Resumo

Reparos realizados em equipamentos que trabalham sob pressão, os quais são constituídos de metais soldados com tratamento térmico pós-soldagem, deve ser seguida por um novo tratamento térmico, o que nem sempre é possível. Assim tornase necessário encontrar novas formas de se reparar estruturas em aços sem a aplicação de um tratamento térmico adicional pós-reparo. Este trabalho fornece orientações sobre os métodos disponíveis para a realização deste reparo através da técnica denominada de passe de revenimento (Temper Bead), onde cordões de solda adicionais são aplicados e o respectivo aporte de calor é explorado como alternativa para a eliminação do tratamento térmico pós-soldagem. Além disso, este tipo de soldagem pode ser utilizado para controlar a microestrutura, a dureza final e outras propriedades do material na região próxima à solda.

 

Repairs performed on equipment that work under pressure, which are made of metal welded to the post-welding heat treatment should be followed by further heat treatment, which is not always possible. Thus it is necessary to find new ways to fix steel structures without the application of a further heat treatment after repair. This paper provides guidance on the methods available to perform this repair using a technique called pass temper (Temper Bead), where additional weld beads are applied and its heat input is explored as an alternative for the elimination of post-heat treatment welding. Furthermore, this type of welding can be used to control the microstructure, hardness and other properties of the final material in the region near the weld.
