Resumo

Este trabalho teve como objetivo a síntese e a caracterização do precursor oxálico de Nióbio (NH4)3NbO(C2O4)3.H2O e seu composto CuNb2O6. Para obter, o precursor de nióbio, o óxido de nióbio(Nb2O6) é submetido à fusão com bissulfato de potássio e complexado com ácido oxálico e oxalato de amônio. O precursor produzido foi misturado com cobre 5% via sólido-sólido e submetido à calcinação a 1000°C para obter o CuNb2O6. Os materiais obtidos foram caracterizados através DRX, MEV, IV, FRX,TG e DSC. Os resultados revelam a formação de duas fases distintas: CuNb2O6 e Nb2O5,como também a formação do precursor. Percebeu-se ainda a presença de picos bem característicos e a ausência de grandes ruídos como também uma pequena variação no tamanho das partículas.

 

This study aimed to the synthesis and characterization of the precursor of oxalic Niobium (NH4)3NbO (C2O4)3.H2O and its compound, the CuNb2O6. For the precursor niobium, niobium oxide (Nb2O6) is subjected to the fusion with potassium bisulfate and complexed with oxalic acid and ammonium oxalate. The precursor produced was blended with 5% copper via solid-solid and submitted to calcination at 1000 ° C to obtain the CuNb2O6. The obtained materials were characterized by XRD, SEM, IR, XRF, TG and DSC. Results show the formation of two separate phases: CuNb2O6 and Nb2O5, and also the formation of the precursor. It was realized also the presence of very characteristic peaks and the lack of large noises as well as a small variation in particle size.
