The purpose of this work was to apply the Continuum Damage Mechanics (CDM) to Reinforced Concrete Pole. The Damage variable was estimated on the Reinforced Concrete Pole through the elastic line behavior. Experimental program (elasticity test) was carried out on the Reinforced Concrete Pole, where each specimen was subjected at a force on its extreme, while the other was set in. Then, it was measured the value of the elastic line. A simplified computational model was built in the computer code that used the classic dislocation theory. The elastic line was obtained by using the same parameters of the experimental tests. Other computational model was built for analysis in the simulation software, for also to study the behavior of the elastic line. The elastic line was obtained for the experimental tests and the simplified computational model. The lines were compared and an approach of the Damage variable was obtained. However, with the computational simulation, look forward to a better result of the Damage variable.
