Resumo

The industries running large-scale process can benefit from using Expert Optimizer™ – particularly if there is an operator in the control loop whose influence determines success. The strength comes via the combination of the technologies, knowledge and experience. Complex real-world problems require systems that form partnerships with different artificial intelligence methods – fuzzy logic, neurocomputing and problem reasoning. Based on the system description and a presentation of one success case, the objective of this paper is to describe the benefits of the Expert System when applied in a mineral process.
