Among the anticorrosive protection processes used, coating is one of the techniques with the greatest relevance considering technical and economic feasibility aspects. Polymeric coatings provide a barrier (both physical and electrochemical) between the steel surface of the pipe and the environment. Defects in pipeline coatings are inevitable at all stages of the manufacturing process, during installation, and in pipeline operation. This research work investigates the behavior of cathodic disbondment in steel pipelines coated with a polymeric triple-layer polypropylene system, whose first layer is applied by electrostatic painting. During the industrial coating application process, the substrate temperature was intentionally varied to obtain different degrees of cure, later characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC n the study, the variables of the cathodic disbondment test were checked before and after the completion of the test. The main response consists of the evaluation of the disbondment radius after 28 days of testing and the analysis of the influence of these variables on the coating's corrosion resistance. Additionally, the electrochemical technique and potentiometry were employed with the aim of predicting the anticorrosive performance of the system and correlating it with the results of the cathodic disbondment.
