The search for sustainable solutions in the construction industry has encouraged the reuse of plastic waste and construction and demolition waste in cementitious materials. In this context, this study evaluated the mechanical performance and structural behavior of concrete produced with recycled aggregates and recycled PET fibers through an experimental investigation combined with numerical modeling using ANSYS Student 2026. Concrete mixtures containing recycled coarse aggregate and different PET fiber contents (0.5%, 1.0%, and 1.25%) were produced and tested under axial compression according to ABNT NBR 5739. In addition, a numerical model of a beam subjected to three-point bending was developed to qualitatively assess strain distribution. The results showed that the complete replacement of natural aggregate with recycled aggregate did not significantly affect compressive strength, with average values of 46.73 MPa for the reference concrete and 46.89 MPa for the recycled aggregate concrete. Among the fiber-reinforced mixtures, the best performance was obtained with 1.0% PET fiber content, reaching an average compressive strength of 44.76 MPa. The numerical model successfully reproduced the expected structural response, showing strain distributions consistent with classical beam bending theory. The findings indicate that the combined use of recycled aggregates and recycled PET fibers is a technically feasible and environmentally sustainable alternative for structural concrete production.
