Resumo
The aplication of coreless coating pots and coreless pre-melters offers flexibility to coating lines not possible with traditional channel type pots. For alloys changes, coreless furnaces can be emptie and fefilled from the pre-melter. This eliminates the need for aditional pots as well as lift and transfer systems. Instead, suitable ingot molds and pumps must be available. The result is lower capital cost for equipment, energy savinfs and less space requirement.
