Resumo

Gas Analyzers come in many shapes and sizes. There are different sensor technologies and different physical designs both of which result in different performance specifications. Many specifying engineers fail to understand the differences between analyzers and thus find it difficult to specify the best solution to their gas analysis problem. This paper will help to differentiate analyzer designs and sensor technologies as well as define gas analyzer performance specifications so as to facilitate the specification of gas analyzers and assure that the analyzer selected provides the best solution for the specific application.
