Resumo

Innovations and improvements of caster automation are currently driven by the following main trends: innovations in casting technology, quality demands, and rapidly increasing computer and network power. These innovations are supported by control systems like MoldEXPERT and the VAI Automatic Strand Taper Control System (ASTC). VAI-Automation, a pioneer in Computer Aided Quality Control, continues to develop models like DYNACS and VAI-Q for continuous casting. Additional tools like VAI-Q Strip and VAI-Q Discovery assist in supervision and data analysis. Improved connectivity and communication technologies further support remote upgrades and diagnostics. Automation plays a crucial role in product quality in continuous casting. VAI-Automation has a long-standing commitment to automatic quality control and continues to innovate with models, databases, and flexible systems for fast and reliable implementation.
