The superhard polycrystalline materials on the base of the diamond, cubic nitride (cBN) and wurzite-like boron nitride (wBN) are known about thirty years ago. They differ by high level of mechanical properties and in this connection already for a long time have attracted attention of the experts, which work in the field of mechanical engineering and metallreatment. These materials are interesting for microelectronics, in particular, in connection with the problem of heat sinks. At the present work were researched properties of Hexanite-R plates by 15 mm diameter, were compared with properties of traditional Hexanite-R by diameter 5, 5 mm and other wellknown superhard materials on the base of diamond and functional superhard ceramics. This research shows that Hexanite-R may be wide explored for machining metals and also for electronics.
