Resumo

Metal composite wires may be obtained in the course of simultaneous plastic deformation. Special kinds of composed. longitudinally orientated bars or wires are produced in extrusion and drowing processes. The simplest case of such deformation is extrusion and drowing from round initial material composed of different sleeve and core into a round, composed bar or wire. Non-homogeneity of the deformed material complicate metal flow to obtain required metal composite. Better description of physical phenomena which take place during simultaneous plastic flow of different materials and taking them into account in determining mechanics and metallurgy of this kind of plastic deformation. The paper presents behaviour of metal composites in extrusion and drowing. Different cases of initial composed material leading to composite products are examined. The detailed experimental research of extrusion and fundamental experiment during the drowing process were carried out to describe the character of plastic deformation of various materials forming composite bar. Theoretical and experimental analysis of simultaneous plastic flow of different materials to obtain this kind of composite describe the specific character of this type of deformation taking into consideration the changeable features of the initially composed material: arrangement of components, its geometrical parameters, component features and the degree of global plastic deformation.
