Resumo

A generation of design vital of 2,500m3 BF is 12 years. It has worked 13 years with good production index until now, and the crucible is stable as well. For extending the BF campaign life, a series advance techniques were adapted, for example, the BF intelligent expert system, the monitoring technique of thermal load in BF, intensifying the intensity of cooling technique, the maintenance work technique of BF, the operation technique of old BF. Those techniques have controlled the BF subsidence, the furnace shaft distorting and leaking. In this thesis, those techniques are discussed, and the effect on the BF longevity is mentioned as well. According to the BF condition, the BF is expected to work 16 years.
