After oxygen and nitrogen, water vapor is the most plentiful gas in the atmosphere. Indeed water covers 70% of the surface of our planet. The effect of this substance and its vapors and solids upon our lives never ceases. One would think that through our close association with water, we should have developed exceedingly accurate and inexpensive methods of measuring water concentration. This has not been the case. Until recently, moisture measurement involved measuring the length of human hairs and the weight of cotton. These methods are inexpensive, but they are not the products of our vaunted space age. Many new methods have come to life in recent years. In this paper, we propose to investigate the modern methods of measuring moisture.
