Resumo

A crescente utilização de dutos para o transporte de petróleo e gás natural tem impulsionado o desenvolvimento de aços resistentes à propagação de trincas. Utilizando o modelo de Paris-Erdogan aplicado ao estágio II da propagação, o objetivo deste trabalho foi a análise das curvas de crescimento de trinca por fadiga a uma baixa temperatura do aço ABNT 4133 modificado (API 5CT), obtido por lingotamento contínuo. Para a análise das curvas foi realizada a suavização das mesmas no programa Origin7.5, e um teste t de hipóteses no Minitab14, a fim de aceitar ou não os resultados. Observa-se que este material utilizado em tubulações para o transporte de petróleo e gás natural (API5CT) não teve propriedades mecânicas afetadas quando utilizado a baixas temperaturas.

 

The increased use of pipelines to transport oil and natural gas has driven the development of steel resistant to harsh conditions. Using Paris-Erdogan model in the stage II region , the goal of this study was the analysis of the low temperature of ABNT 4133 modified (API 5CT) manufactured by continuous ingot casting. The curve analysis smoothing was performed in Origin7.5 program, and a t test hypotheses was in Minitab14. It is observed that the material used in pipelines to transport oil and natural gas (API5CT) didn't affect the mechanical properties when used at low temperatures.
