ANALYSIS OF THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF THE METALLIC MATRIX Ni-Sn AND Co-Sn OBTAINED BY THE TECHNIQUE OF THE POWDER METALLURGY

Resumo

No trabalho atual, as matrizes metálicas 82%Ni-18%Sn e 82%Co-18%Sn foram analisadas a fim de substituir o cobalto pelo níquel em matriz metálica para atuar como ligante em ferramentas diamantadas. Os pós metálicos foram misturados e então prensados a quente, onde a mistura foi depositada em orifícios em uma matriz de grafite e submetida a uma temperatura de 800°C, tempo de 3 minutos e pressão de 35 MPa, ocorrendo a sinterização. Realizaram-se nestes sinterizados ensaios de abrasão, dureza HRB a fim de avaliar as propriedades mecânicas das matrizes metálicas.

 

In the current work, the metallic matrix 82%Ni-18%Sn and 82%Co-18%Sn were analyzed in order to substitute the cobalt for the nickel in metallic bond to act as bonding in diamond tools. The metallic powders were mixed and then hot-pressed, where the mixture was deposited in holes in a graphite matrix and submitted the a temperature at 800°C, time at 3 minutes and pressure at 35 MPa, occurring the sintering. Accomplished in these sintering of the wear test, hardness HRB in order to evaluate the mechanical properties of the metallic matrix.
