Resumo

No recozimento em caixa, a superfície da bobina absorve mais calor do que o interior, de modo que o perfil térmico real aplicado é diferente. A variação na taxa de aquecimento e na temperatura de recozimento entre o interior da bobina e as extremidades é em grande parte responsável pela alteração das propriedades mecânicas do aço nestas regiões, ao longo do ciclo térmico. Este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a variação das propriedades mecânicas do material no recozimento, considerando separadamente as curvas características referentes a dois pontos de controle de temperatura no processo. Os resultados indicam que ocorreu variação das propriedades mecânicas entre as duas curvas, principalmente entre 14 e 26 h e que após este tempo houve uma estabilização destes valores, indicando homogeneização destas propriedades, dentro da faixa de requisitos do aço.

 

In batch annealing, the coil surface absorbs more heat than the center, so that the actual thermal profile applied is different. Variation on the heating rate and annealing temperature between the center region, and coil ends, is largely responsible for the variation of mechanical properties along the coil. This project aims to study the variation of the mechanical properties of the material along the annealing cycle, considering separately the characteristic curves referring to two temperature control points in the process. The results indicate that there was a variation of the mechanical properties between the two curves, mainly between 14 and 26h and after this time there was a stabilization of these values, indicating homogenization of these properties, in the range of steel requirements.
