Resumo

O presente trabalho objetiva apresentar um projeto inovador de Benchmarking de Práticas de Automação Industrial, desenvolvido junto a 4 grandes empresas dos segmentos de Siderurgia e Mineração – SAMARCO, MBR, Vallourec & Mannesmann e Cia. Mineira de Metais. Envolve pesquisas, tabulações e análises que produzirão um amplo comparativo de suas práticas de gestão e tecnologias empregadas. Será exposta detalhadamente a metodologia praticada, baseada em quatro fases: Planejamento, Levantamento, tabulação, publicação. Serão apresentados os questionários mapeados em cerca de 140 questões e 35 Índices, envolvendo: Processos, práticas, estruturas, políticas, tecnologias, indicadores Técnicos, tendências tecnológicas e de gestão. Na conclusão discutiremos os desdobramentos esperados. Com a apresentação do tema, buscamos motivar mais empresas para as vantagens da prática do Benchmarking. 


 

The main objective of this work is to present an innovative Benchmarking Industrial Automation Practices project, developed among four large companies that act in the Metallurgy and Mining areas – SAMARCO, MBR, Vallourec & Mannesmann and Cia. Mineira de Metais. It includes research, tabulation and analysis that are going to provide a wide comparison between their administration practices and technologies used. The methodology applied will be exposed in full detail, based in four phases: Planning, survey, Tabulation, Publishing. It will be presented mapped questionnaires with around 140 questions and 35 indexes, involving: Process, practices, structures, politics, technologies, techniques indicators, Tendencies- Technologies & administration. During the conclusion of the presentation, it will be debated the expected results from the total work. 
 By introducing this topic, we expect to motivate more companies to share the advantages of Benchmarking practices.
