Resumo

Programas de Conservação de Energia fazem uso de técnicas de isolamento de instalações para redução da temperatura interna. A utilização de cobertura vegetal em telhados é parte integrante da cultura de diferentes civilizações. Este trabalho teve por objetivo avaliar o desempenho do revestimento de telhas zincadas em contato direto com cobertura vegetal, sem uso de qualquer material impermeabilizante ou manta protetiva. Para o estudo foram construídos dois módulos em chapas zincadas. Um módulo foi utilizado como referência e o outro foi recoberto. A cobertura vegetal foi utilizada a gramínia conhecida como grama esmeralda (paspalum notatum). Para monitoramento da eficiência da cobertura vegetal foi utilizado um sistema de medição de temperatura. Após o período de acompanhamento foram desmontadas as coberturas e analisada a espessura de revestimento de zinco. As observações no período indicam uma melhora no conforto térmico do módulo recoberto com a gramínea, comprovando a literatura existente sobre o assunto. As análises do revestimento de zinco indicaram que não houve desgaste perceptível, tornando a utilização de cobertura vegetal direta sobre telhas de chapa zincada uma alternativa economicamente viável.

 

Programs of Conservation of Energy make use of techniques of isolation of facilities for reduction of the temperature it interns. The use of vegetable covering in roofs is integral part of the culture of different civilizations. This work had for objective to evaluate the acting of the coating of tiles zinc-coated on direct contact with vegetable covering, without use of any material impermeable or protective blanket. For the study two modules were built with foils zinc-coated. A module was used as reference and the other was covered. The vegetable covering is composed of well-known gramínia as gram emerald (paspalum notatum). For observation of the efficiency of the vegetable covering a system of temperature measuring was used. After the accompaniment period the coverings were dismounted and analyzed the thickness of coating of zinc. The observations at the period indicate an improvement at the thermal comfort of the module covered with the gramínea, checking the existent literature on the subject. The analyses of the coating of zinc indicated that there was not perceptible waste, turning the use of direct vegetable covering viable as an economical alternative.
