Resumo

Este trabalho descreve o desenvolvimento e implementação de um sistema de comando e supervisão para o Recozimento 2 da COSIPA. O sistema inclui o comando centralizado dos dispositivos de controle dos fornos, a visualização de todas as bases, o registro das temperaturas durante as fases de aquecimento e resfriamento do material, bem como o registro dos eventos e alarmes por meio de um protocolo dedicado de comunicação entre a máquina hospedeira e os dispositivos de controle e indicação da planta. O sistema contempla uma base de dados relacional para otimizar o gerenciamento das informações e uma interface homem-máquina que habilita o ajuste dos parâmetros dos controladores com maior flexibilidade. O sistema foi desenvolvido internamente com o uso de linguagens convencionais de terceira e quarta gerações, ao invés de supervisórios dedicados. O texto justifica essa opção com base no pleno domínio da aplicação e na economia de despesas com licenciamento, uma vez que o sistema deverá ser estendido a plantas similares. Por fim, os resultados obtidos são relatados e são apresentadas propostas para trabalhos futuros.

 

This work describes the development and implementation of a command and supervision system for a box-type annealing line in a steel plant. The system includes the centralized command for the controlling devices of the furnaces, the visualization of all work bases, the recording of the temperatures during the heating and the cooling phases of the process, as well as the recording of the warning and alarm events, by means of a tailored communication protocol between the host computer and the plant control and indicating devices. The system comprises a relational database in order to optimize information management (statistics, reports, and so on), and a man-machine interface that allows for faster and more efficient operator intervention in parameter adjusting. The system was internally developed using conventional third and fourth-generation programming languages, instead of dedicated supervisory packages. The text justifies this choice on the basis of a full application domain and of savings on licensing costs, as the system is to be extended to similar plants. Finally, the text relates the results obtained from the application of the system and gives directions for further work.
