Resumo

O objetivo deste trabalho é estudar a microestrutura e a resistência à corrosão da zona fundida na soldagem dissimilar do aço inoxidável AISI 444 usando o eletrodo revestido AWS E309MoL. Chapas foram soldadas empregando três níveis de energia (6, 9 e 12 kJ/cm). Foram realizadas análises metalográficas e ensaios de corrosão a 300°C, imersos em petróleo por um período de 60 horas. Concluiu-se que a microestrutura da zona fundida foi constituída por austenita e ferrita

 

The aim of this work was to study the microstructure and corrosion resistance of the fusion zone in the dissimilar welding of the AISI 444 stainless steel using the AWS E309MoL covered electrode. Three levels of welding heat input were used (6, 9 e 12 kJ/cm). Metallografic analysis and corrosion test at 300oC, immersed in petroleum for a period of 60 hours, were carried out.
