Resumo

As aciarias LD, de pequeno porte e de alta produtividade, normalmente não dispõem de um sistema mecanizado de medição de temperatura e amostragem de aço nos convertedores. O sistema de sublança com controle dinâmico, apesar dos benefícios, apresenta elevados custos de implantação, insumos e de operação, sendo por isso empregado usualmente em aciarias de grande porte. A sublança CFP se apresenta como uma alternativa de baixo custo para aciarias menores, realizando medições e amostragem nos convertedores somente após o fim de sopro. Visando a segurança operacional, ganhos de produtividade e qualidade, menor perda de temperatura do aço, a USIMINAS, junto com a CFP Consultoria Representações e Comércio Ltda, instalou nos 3 convertedores de 80 t da Aciaria 1, sublanças CFP, para medições e amostragem de aço após o fim de sopro, que atendam às necessidades operacionais e de custo, sem perder a funcionalidade das sublanças convencionais. Apresenta-se uma visão geral de instalação de todo o sistema.

 

LD Steelmaking Plants with small furnace capacity and high productivity, usually, do not have a mechanized system to measurement of temperature and steel sampling inside the converters. Once that, the sublance system with dynamic control, in despite of its benefits, has high costs of installation, inputs and operation; therefore being usually installed only on steelmaking plants with high capacity furnaces. The CFP Sublance is a low cost alternative to smaller steel making plants, carrying out measurements and sampling inside the converters only after the end of the blow. Aiming for operational safety, productivity and quality gains, besides lower steel temperature losses, USIMINAS has installed, jointly with CFP Consultoria Representações e Comércio Ltda, 3 CFP sublances in their 3 LD converters with 80 t capacity at the Steelmaking Plant #1, for end blow measurements and sampling, considering the operational and costs needs without losing the functionality of the conventional sublances. It is presented an overall view of the installation of whole system, considering the equipments and the assembly phases.
