Resumo

Com a entrada em operação da nova área de produção da CST, o LTQ – Laminação de Tiras a Quente, foi instalado uma nova estação misturadora de gás, voltada para atender o forno de reaquecimento de placas. Todo o projeto foi desenvolvido, tendo como base, as informações advindas do projeto de instalação da nova área de LTQ, onde se previa a instalação de um forno de re-aquecimento de placas com um perfil de consumo estável e com vazão de consumo da ordem de 47.000 Nm3/h de gás MG ( BFG + COG + GN ). Após o start-up da área foi verificado que o perfil de consumo é variável, entre 3.000 Nm3/h e 45.000 Nm3/h, com picos instantâneos elevados. Esta realidade colocava a estação misturadora em condições operacionais indesejadas e fora de suas especificações, que é de operar com vazão mínima de produção de MG de 30.000 Nm3/h. Diante deste fato, foi montada uma misturadora estática na CTE – Central Termoelétrica, com o objetivo de absorver a sobra de gás MG produzido na EMG – Estação Misturadora de Gás e não consumida pelo forno de reaquecimento do LTQ. Desta forma passamos a operar com a EMG dentro de suas características de projeto, ou seja, produção de MG entre 30.000 Nm3/h e 53.000 Nm3/h ( 1 booster ).

 

With the beginning in operation of the new area of production of the CST, the LTQ - Lamination of hot straps, the area of utilities has projected, developed and mounted a new mixer of gas station, with the objective of attending the reheating oven plates. All the project was developed, having as base, information that come from the project of instalation of the new area of LTQ, where it was foreseen instalation of an oven of reheating of plates with a steady profile of consumption and outflow of consumption of the 47.000 order of Nm3/h of gas MG (BFG +COG + GN). After the start-up of the area, it was noticed that the consumption profile is variable, between 3.000 Nm3/h and 45.000 Nm3/h, with instantaneous peaks of the 12.000 order of Nm3/h. This reality placed the mixer station in operational conditions undesired and out of its specifications, that is to operate with an outflow minimum of production of 30.000 MG of Nm3/h. Facing of this fact, a static’s mixer in the CTE was mounted - Thermoelectrically Central, with the objective of absorbing the surplus gas MG produced in the EMG - Mixer station of Gas and not consumed by the reheating oven of the LTQ. This way we start to operate following the EMG characteristics of the project, that is, production of MG between 30.000 Nm3/h and 53.000 Nm3/h (1 to booster).
