The extraction of plant fibers nanocelulose is an example of the growing search for more sustainable materials with good performance and quality. In this work, was extracted nanocelulose bamboo fibers that are rich in cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. After some tests, detected high abundance of cellulose, and the accompanying guidance in the areas of bamboo internodes. Therefore, the aim objective is to extract nanocelulose this region, developing an effective methodology in its production, given that the nanocelulose extraction is fairly investigated, and adjustments were made from research presented in the literature. The nanoparticles were obtained by acid hydrolysis to 64% after mercerization and the bleaching with NaClO. To achieve results, the characterizations of the samples were made with Thermogravimetry (TG), Derivative Thermogravimetry (DTG), Infra-red Fourier Transform (IFTR) and particle size by Zeta Potential. As a result, the observation of two events in DTG analysis: one at 54°C corresponding to loss of water and 330°C corresponding to the degradation of cellulose. The sizes of the particles obtained Zeta Potential 257.1 nm peak (79.6%) and 67.9 nm (15.6%).
