Resumo

O presente trabalho foi desenvolvido com o objetivo de avaliar a aplicabilidade do uso de um software de modelagem 3D para planejar e gerenciar o consumo de insertos de usinagem. Empregando-se um software 3D comercial, foram estimadas as massas removidas em distintas operações de usinagem e o consumo real de insertos foi mensurado em relação à quantidade de material removido. Após comparação da metodologia proposta com aquela que atualmente é empregada, notou-se uma diferença de consumo expressiva. Evidenciou-se que é perfeitamente possível implantar esta nova metodologia para melhorar o nível de detalhamento do processo, o que requer, primeiramente, uma mudança conceitual. Como benefícios, podem ser mencionados: custeio de forma mais precisa, melhor avaliação da qualidade do inserto, melhor avaliação da usinabilidade do material, melhor conhecimento dos equipamentos/periféricos, melhor planejamento operacional e melhor gerenciamento.

 

The present work was developed to analyze the use of a 3D modeling software to planning and managing the tool machining. Using this 3D software, it was estimated the removed mass in different machining operations. The real machining toll consumption was measured in relation to the quantity of removed material. It was noted that there is a great difference among the actual methodology and the methodology herein presented. It is possible to use this new methodology instead the actual to improve the process control. It can be mentioned as results: costs more refined, better evaluation of machining tool quality, better knowledge of process and equipments, better operational planning and managing.
