Abstract

O estudo tem como finalidade, analisar a eficiência das políticas educacionais adotadas na cidade de Porto Velho, frente a nova realidade situacional do município, devido a implantação das Usinas Hidrelétricas no rio Madeira (Santo Antonio e Jirau), em se tratando de oferta e demanda de empregos. Para isso, será utilizados dados documentais, livros, artigos e o PPA (Plano Plurianual) da educação do Município (2006-2009), que fundamentam a temática, para entender as necessidades educacionais que o indivíduo encontra ao ingressar no atual mercado de trabalho. Nesse contexto, pode-se afirmar que o nível de escolaridade exerce uma influência sobre a probabilidade de os indivíduos estarem ocupados e os retornos dessa inserção em termos de rendimentos. A transformação contínua que a sociedade apresenta, exigem políticas específicas que ofereçam à população, condições de ingressar nas novas oportunidades do mercado. Como resultado da pesquisa, busca-se promover a conscientização das necessidades desta educação, que dá condições, atualiza os saberes de acordo com as necessidades do mercado e promove o desenvolvimento local e regional.

 

The study aims to analyze the effectiveness of educational politics adopted in the city of Porto Velho. Is used documentary, books, articles and the multiannual plan (PPA) education of the municipality (2006-2009), the thematic educational needs to understand that the individual is to join in the current labour market. In this context, we can say that the level of schooling exerts an influence on the likelihood of individuals being occupied and returns this insertion in terms of income. Current market characteristics and continuous transformation that society presents, require specific politics that offer people join conditions in the new market opportunities. As a result of research, seeks to promote awareness of the needs of this education, which gives conditions, updates the knowledges in accordance with the needs of the market and promotes local and regional development.
