Abstract
O trabalho descreve a criação e uso de um aço laminado a quente com baixo carbono e semi estabilizado ao boro e titânio, elementos que visam reduzir a quantidade de nitrogênio intersticial e atuar como elementos de alteração de forma de inclusões. O material foi tratado em desgaseificador RH (Ruhrstahl-Heraeus) visando estreitar as faixas de variação da composição de carbono e manganês, bem como limitar os teores dos elementos residuais. As principais análises realizadas foram: a avaliação da variação dimensional do material, quando foi obtido o perfil de espessuras ao longo de todo o comprimento e largura da bobina e as propriedades mecânicas gerais, com destaque para sua ductilidade. Acompanhou-se o desempenho no uso final do material em estampagem.
This work describes the creation and use of a low carbon steel specification semi stabilized by boron-titanium addition to reduce interstitial nitrogen and to act as inclusion geometry modifier agent. Vacuum degassing RH (Ruhrstahl-Heraeus) process was used to sharpen the chemical composition range of carbon and manganese as well to limitate residuals contents. The main analyses were: dimensional evaluation of the material, when was obtained the thickness profile over all coil length and wide, and the general mechanical properties, with prominence to its ductility. The drawing final performance was accompanist.
