Abstract

Após investigação dos principais modelos empíricos para capacidade de britadores giratórios, verificou-se que os modelos indicados por Taggart, Broman, Rose English, Gaudie e Hersam obtiveram boa correlação, no entanto os valores obtidos eram inferiores aos que os fabricantes indicavam. Visualizada esta situação necessitava de uma atualização nos modelos para que fossem mais condizentes com a situação atual. Elaborou-se este trabalho então para minimizar esta deficiência para que os profissionais da área mineral possam calcular a capacidade de seus britadores em situações adversas.

After investigate empiric models of gyratory crushers it was establish a good correlation to models written by Taggart, Broman, Rose English, Gaudieand Hersam. However, the values were lower than the manufacturers documented. In order to help those who work in the mineral industry to better understand their equipment, these models was rewritten to become more pertinent with the reality.
