Abstract

Foi construída uma ferramenta para realizar o embutimento e três passes de ironing de um copo em aço LI, com prensa-chapa fixo e para avaliar as forças e as espessuras nos passes de ironing durante o deslocamento do punção. O estudo foi realizado experimentalmente através do ferramental construído e teoricamente, através de modelagem e simulação numérico-computacional, utilizando o aplicativo computacional DEFORM 2D. Além disso, é avaliada a força máxima nos passes de ironing através de métodos analíticos propostos na literatura. Os resultados numérico-computacionais são comparados com os experimentais e com aqueles obtidos através de métodos analíticos.

A set of tools was prepared in order to perform the experimental deep drawing of an IF steel sheet, which was followed by three successive wall ironing passes. The applied forces and the wall thickness variation during ironing were evaluated. A theoretical approach to the question was also developed, utilizing the modeling and simulation of the process through a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) with the DEFORM- 2D software. In addition, the maximum predicted loads in the ironing passes were calculated through various analytical methods proposed in the literature. The numerical results were compared with the experimental and analytical ones.
