Abstract

O objetivo do presente trabalho é apresentar um panorama da aplicabilidade de nanomateriais na indústria e sua perspectiva de crescimento nos segmentos industriais, com ênfase no setor metal-mecânico. As diferentes técnicas de produção de tais materiais são abordadas neste artigo. As aplicações e propriedades dos materiais nanoestruturados serão pontos relevantes do trabalho. Esperamos com o presente trabalho, mostrar que materiais nano-estruturados constituem uma possibilidade real e efetiva de evolução não só nos processos industriais, mas como de desenvolvimento tecnológico com grande retorno não só para sociedade, mas para seus produtores.

 

The main purpose of the present work is to show a panorama of the industrial applicability of materials containing nanostructures and a perspective of its growth in industrials segments with emphasis in the metallurgy and mechanics. A brief explanation over the production techniques of these materials and an approach on the future of nanomaterials will be discussed in this work. Our expectation about this work is to demonstrate that nanostructured materials are a real possibility of improving not only industrial process, but also technological development and benefits for both society and producers. In order to do that, will be done an analysis of the progress so far in the nanomaterials science and its prospective for the future.
