Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar as principais práticas e ferramentas estatísticas adotadas para análise de variáveis de processo e diagnósticos de defeitos em uma linha de Laminação de Tiras à Quente (LTQ). O artigo discute os conceitos da análise multivariável PCA e Six-sigma e ressalta que o uso de ferramentas estatísticas, aliado ao conhecimento do processo produtivo, auxilia na determinação e na seleção das variáveis mais impactantes para a eficiência operacional do processo, promovendo ganhos de produtividade e desempenho operacional.

 

This paper aims to present the main practices and statistical tools used for process data analysis and diversion diagnosis in a hot strip mill (HSM). The article discusses the concepts of multivariate analysis PCA and Six-sigma and emphasizes that the use of statistical tools, combined with production process knowledge, assists in determining the most impacting variables in operational efficiency of the process, promoting productivity gains and operational performance.
