Abstract

A aplicação de técnicas de Gerenciamento de Alarmes está em grande expansão na indústria. A execução de um projeto deste tipo deve seguir uma metodologia que, para ser aplicada, demanda a utilização de um software de Gerenciamento de Alarmes ou de ferramentas próprias desenvolvidas para substituí-lo. Este artigo descreve um projeto desenvolvido com ferramentas próprias no Sistema de Alarmes do Forno de Reaquecimento de Placas no 1 da ArcelorMittal Tubarão. São detalhados os resultados obtidos no primeiro ciclo de otimização, com a redução de 17,9% das ocorrências de alarmes do sistema e a análise realizada para a implementação do segundo ciclo, com um potencial de redução de mais 21,3%, ficando assim evidenciados os ganhos relacionados à implementação do projeto.

 

The application of Alarm Management techniques is booming at the industry. The implementation of this kind of project should follow a methodology that requires the use of an Alarms Management Software or proprietary tools developed to replace it. This paper describes a Project developed with some proprietary tools at the Alarm System of ArcelorMittal Tubarão Slabs Reheating Furnace #1.The results of the first optimization cycle are detailed, with a 17.9% reduction of system alarm messages. Besides this, the analysis for the second optimization cycle implementation is explored, with a potential reduction of 21.3%, showing the gains related to the project implementation.
