Abstract

A simulação de sistemas é uma ferramenta de suporte e apoio aos processos de planejamento e tomada de decisão cada vez mais usadas no setor de mineração. O presente estudo irá abordar a metodologia e as etapas de um projeto de simulação. Além disso, serão apresentados alguns casos reais em diferentes áreas de aplicações como: mina, usina, logística e porto, através de modelos de simulação dinâmica que entregaram resultados significativos ao auxiliar na tomada de decisão, identificação de gargalos e direcionamento adequado dos recursos.

Systems simulation is a tool to support and support the planning and decision-making processes increasingly used in the mining industry. This study will address the methodology and steps of a simulation project. In addition, some real cases will be presented in different application areas such as: mine, plant, logistics and port, through dynamic simulation models that delivered significant results by assisting in decision making, identifying the bottlenecks and the investiments and quantity of resources required
