Abstract
O presente trabalho apresenta uma breve explanação do processo de forjamento, resultados da investigação experimental e da análise computacional acerca do método de ensaio do tubo cônico, visando à determinação do coeficiente de atrito para a liga de alumínio AA6351. Foram construídas curvas teóricas de calibração do coeficiente de atrito para o alumínio, também foram realizadas as simulações computacionais dos ensaios do tubo, que permitiram a verificação teórica do fluxo de material no interior dos corpos de prova comparando-as com os resultados obtidos em ensaios práticos, comprovando a eficiência do modelo de simulação, visto que a geometria do tubo favorece a comparação entre a simulação e os testes experimentais.
This paper presents a brief explanation of the forging process, results of experimental investigation and computational analysis on the method of up seting conical test to determine the coefficient of friction for aluminum alloy AA6351. Theoretical curves were constructed calibration coefficient of friction for aluminum, were also performed computer simulations of the test tube, allowing the verification of the theoretical flow of material within the specimens by comparing them with results obtained in practical tests, proving the efficiency of the simulation model, since the geometry of the tube facilitates the comparison between simulation and experimental tests.
